Charred Broccolini & Burrata with Crispy Shallots & Hot Honey

For the Dish:


  • 2 bunches broccolini, halved lengthwise

  • 3 tablespoons Aroma olive oil, divided

  • Sea salt and cracked black pepper

  • 2 balls burrata cheese (about 8 oz)

  • 1/4 cup crispy fried shallots


For the Hot Honey:


  • 1/3 cup honey

  • 1-2 tablespoons (Aroma Culinary) hot sauce (adjust to taste)

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • Pinch of sea salt


INSTRUCTIONS:


  1. Preheat a cast-iron skillet or grill pan over high heat until very hot.

  2. Toss broccolini with 2 tablespoons Aroma olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  3. Char broccolini in the hot pan, turning occasionally, until dark and tender (about 5-7 minutes). Transfer to a serving platter.

  4. Whisk together honey, hot sauce, red pepper flakes, garlic, and salt in a small bowl. Let sit 5 minutes.

  5. Tear burrata into pieces and place over broccolini. Drizzle with remaining 1 tablespoon Aroma olive oil.

  6. Spoon hot honey over the burrata and garnish with crispy shallots. Serve immediately.
